Bloggers Quilt festival

This is a quilt I created for my grandfather during his stay in a nursing home. It was crated using a blue flannel, creme and solid blue fabric. The creme and solid blue were sewed into a four patch and alternated with the flannel. giving the appearance of diagonal stripes. The two borders were of the creme and blue. Once it was together it was hand tied.It took about a week to complete.

  18. I really like the blues, and of course flannel is great not just for the feel of it, but because it stays put.
