Vanilla Splash

This is my sister's quilt. It's a simple design with just a splash of color. I'm one binding closer to 2010.

The front

And a view of the splash of color, the red binding really sets it off.

Also, it appears that I'm not being notified of comments that are posted to my blog. This has been happening for about a week now. Anyone else having this problem? My Blogger settings haven't been changed so I don't know whats going on. I will reply to your comments as soon as I can.

Also this is my 80th post..Hmmmmmm :)

  1. I would have a difficult time doing such plain color. As you know I am intense with color usage. It looks great though. I do like the red binding.

  2. That is very striking. I know there is a trend that will be appearing soon....of totally neutral quilts (and I've heard of at least one book in the works about it), so you are ahead of time!!! I'm sure your sister will love it. Good luck with your comment notification problem.

  3. I'm with Gene I have trouble using plain colors. Most of my quilts have 25 or more colors in them. Your quilt looks great.

I'm not sure if google is having problems or not. I have not done a blog post in so long. I guess I need to get on it.

  5. I just thought the lack of comment notification stemmed from a lack of comments . . . I've received no comments, and no notifications, either, LOL!!

  6. I am the same as Gene...I do the really bold colours, but it is lovely what you did. I never made one like that!
